As part of the project, a master class on the manufacture of the Kazakh national product, Kurt, was held in the museum's exhibition hall with the participation of representatives of the district Council of Veterans.
Kurt is one of the oldest products that has been preserved and passed down from generation to generation in the nomadic life of the Kazakhs. For the Kazakh people, kurt was not just food, but an important element of everyday life. Nomads valued it for its high nutritional value, ease of storage and long shelf life. This product could be taken with you on long hikes, as it did not spoil for many months, which made it an ideal food for traveling and long-term travel. Kurt, being a symbol of Kazakh culture, was also used in various rituals and celebrations. It was presented as a treat at holidays, weddings and other significant events.
