On April 26, 2023, the museum staff conducted a museum lesson for the International Day of Birds by the Department of Research Support of Regional History in the village of Karabalyk for students of the S. Kozhamkulov DSHI.

On April 1, 1906, the International Convention for the Protection of Birds was adopted. Since then, this date has been celebrated as the International Day of Birds, and it is not only the anniversary of the adoption of the convention, but also the time of arrival of birds from wintering grounds.

The goal is to draw attention to birds and the problems of preserving their habitats through educational activities.
